Emilie's 50th Birthday!

Join us in the beautiful Azores to celebrate my 50th birthday!

We’ll be here from July 23 onwards, and you are very welcome to join us on any day.

The main celebrations take place on July 30, August 1, and August 2, 2026.

Expect wonderful moments shared with old and new friends, a festive dinner, an unforgettable white dinner party, and a champagne brunch by the pool at mom and dads.

I truly hope you can be part of my special celebration.

WELCOME

Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel | July 30 – August 2

On August 1st, I will be turning 50, and I would love to celebrate this milestone together with you.

The celebrations will unfold over a few days and begin with a Welcome Dinner on Thursday, July 30th, at 20:00, in Vila Franca do Campo. A relaxed evening to arrive, settle in, reconnect, and start the celebrations properly — with good food, conversation, and laughter.

On August 1st, my actual birthday, we will celebrate with a dinner party in the Capital, Ponta Delgada, where everyone is kindly asked to dress in white 🤍A small but important recommendation from experience: Please bring your white outfit in your hand luggage.

Emergency shopping due to lost luggage has happened before… and white is not always easy to find at the last minute!

The following day, or whenever your recovery allows 😉,

you are invited to a Lounge Brunch & Champagne by the pool at Mom and Dad’s,

starting at 11:00 and continuing until the last person falls…No rush, no rules — just sunshine, bubbles, music, and good company.

Most of the festivities will take place in Vila Franca do Campo, the village where Harald and I live and which we are happy to call home. It will be the heart of our celebrations. Although it is not strictly necessary, I recommend renting a car, at least for a few days, so you have the freedom to explore and enjoy our beautiful island of São Miguel at your own pace.

I strongly advise booking everything that can be booked in advance:

flights (destination PDL - Ponta Delgada), accommodation, rental cars, and any other logistics —

August is a busy and popular time. At this time of year you do find a few

direct flights, if not, try to fly through Lisbon or Porto.

to catch up, laugh a lot, enjoy music, meals, dancing,
